Complex flavors and aromas of wild cherry, cured leather, sweet cigar and notes
of cocoa and vanilla. Texturally this wine’s balanced acidity and velvety tannins coat the pallet,
leaving a long and juicy finish.
Our Tempranillo grapes were hand harvested in the cool of the morning at optimal maturity. We meticulously hand sorted, destemmed, and berry sorted the clusters before "cold soaking" the whole berries to maximize the color and flavor. Once dry, and after pressing, the wine was aged for 20 months in 35% new French and American oak to soften the texture and add sweet and spicy flavors and aromas.
